| Today's
Prayer |
| "
We pray for families facing difficulties: trying to cope with children's demands on a low income; families where a parent or child is disabled; mothers facing an unplanned pregnancy, making difficult choices, sometimes alone, for lone parents (one in five of all families) ... Lord, you made us one family: show us how to care. " |

| Welcome from the Superintendent
Minister |
Welcome to the Falmouth & Gwennap Methodist Circuit website.
We hope that it will give you information on the Methodist
Churches
in the area and the events taking place in them.
The Circuit consists of 20 churches
and covers the growing towns of Falmouth and Penryn along
with a variety of coastal and rural villages. Combined Universities
in Cornwall is based within the circuit boundary. |
|
We
work as a team across the Circuit with ministry being
provided
by 2 Full Time Ministers plus one half time
minister, 2 Active Supernumerary Ministers
and many lay people.
There are strong ecumenical links in many places with churches
of different denominations joining together regularly
for
worship, study and fellowship.
We hope that you will take the opportunity
to visit one of our churches if you are in this part of Cornwall.
We are sure that you will receive a warm welcome. If you want
to contact us, you are able to do so via this website.
With our prayers and good wishes,
Arthur Cowburn
Superintendent Minister

| Today's Reading |
|
"In the beginning, when God created the universe, the earth was formless and desolate. The raging ocean that covered everything was engulfed in total darkness, and the power of God was moving over the water. Then God commanded, "Let there be light" - and light appeared. God was pleased with what he saw. Genesis 1: 1-4a"
